Create a BusSched timetable database
BusSched needs a database listing the the times for the bus routes that you
are interested in. You can create a timetable by selecting the routes below.
Click the appropriate checkboxes and then select whether you are using
Palm OS or Windows/Pocket PC. The Windows/Pocket PC database is a text file,
while the Palm OS database is a PDB (Palm DataBase) file. The Palm OS database
can be given a brief description that will appear when selecting the database
with the application.
Use the form below to generate a database with the routes you require.
This list of 122 routes is a subset of Dublin Bus routes.
Last updated: 22 December 2006.
Clicking Submit will return a PDB file (Palm DataBase) or a text file (called bussched.txt).
The PDB file is ready for use on your Palm device (just HotSync it).
The text file is the format required for BusSched for Windows and Pocket PC.
You can view the raw data and timetable dates to verify that the latest timetables are present.
If your routes are not listed or are out of date, email me a list at daymobrew at users.sourceforge.net and I will add them.
pdbmake.exe - this small program, by John Walker, is used to compile the timetable databases for Palm OS (Complete source).
Usage: pdbmake -a -c DCBS -t DATA -n display_name text_file.txt
